Update from Pastor Rick …

Thank you so much to all of you who have been praying for the elders of this church. God is blessing us and leading us! And God is using mistakes, stress, deadlines and trials to help us focus on Him for His will!

I am excited to tell you that, with the help of Steve Williams, I think we have solved the problems we were having with the Power Point slide presentation for the sermon notes! And I think we also worked out the bugs for our music slides. Things should go much smoother this week, and hopefully this will help us all focus on worshiping the Lord with minimal distractions!

This Sunday, September 5th, at both services, Gary Cadwallader will be sharing from Romans chapter one as a prelude to the Adult Sunday School class that will begin on September 12th. I am looking forward to hearing truths from this important portion of God's Word!

Remember that there are "contact cards" in the pew each Sunday - feel free to write any prayer request on the contact card - I pick them up each week and will be praying every day for the requests on the contact cards.

Also, this Sunday morning Becky Francis will be meeting with the Jr. high and high school Students in the Youth room at 10:45AM to plan out special youth trips in the coming months. All youth and parents should be there!

Hamburgers with lettuce and tomato, choice of white or whole wheat buns, is on the menu for Dinner on the Deck.

The focus at the Mid-Week Service will be seeking God, and praying for our family members, our church, and our nation.

Beginning September 8th, Ginny Duhm will be leading the Wednesday morning ladies Bible study at 10:00AM.

Welcome

Pine Mountain Christian Community Church is all about Jesus. Every week, we join together to worship God in song and prayer and to hear a relevant and powerful message, which teaches truths from the Bible. We believe it’s also about “relationships” — it’s not about “religion.” So, you can relax when you visit because you’re with friends.

We know what it’s like to visit a new church so don’t worry about being pointed out as “new.” In fact, we won’t make you stand-up, clap or do anything you don’t feel comfortable doing.

And … since you’re in the mountains, don’t worry about what to wear. We believe God looks at the inside. Feel free to dress for comfort.

We offer two worship styles: our 9:00 A.M. service features contemporary style music led by our praise band. At 10:45 A.M., we worship with a mix of traditional hymns and praise songs, accompanied by organ and piano. The same biblical and practical sermon is given at both services.

During Services, we offer nursery care as well as Children’s Church for children through the 3rd Grade. There is a youth Sunday School class (Jr. High and High School) during the 10:45 hour. We encourage parents and youth to attend the first service so that youth can attend both church and the youth Sunday school.

There is Dinner on the Deck on Wednesdays from 6PM to 7PM. Join us for this free dinner and great time of fellowship!

Please join us for our mid-week service on Wednesdays at 7:00 P.M. for 20 minutes of singing and worship, 20 minutes of Bible Study, and 20 minutes of prayer! It’s a great time of fellowship with the Lord and with each other!

We also offer AWANA, a great teen ministry, and helpful Bible instruction on various weekly Bible studies.

The mission of Pine Mountain Christian Community Church is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
