Update from Pastor Rick …

Dear friend of Pine Mountain Christian Community Church,

God always has things to teach us as we study His Word! As we continue our study of 1st Thessalonians, we wil be reminded of the importance of uniting togther and serving Jesus right where He has placed us.

Real father love is in short supply today. We see a frightening increase of child abuse; of fathers acutally attacking their own children. But in great contrast to our present society, there is in 1 Thessalonians 2:17 a great testimony to a father's love. The apostle Paul, as their spiritual father, pours out his care for the new Christians he had left in Thessalonica. We will gain a greater understnding of being committed to those people God has entrusted to our care, whether they be kids, friends, or co-workers.

I want to thank Pamela Plouffe, and her sister Deanna for preparing a fabulous Taco Bar last Wednesday night for us all to enjoy! The youth did a great job setting up and cleaning up, we all had a great time of fellowship around the tables, and we even made some money to help send the youth to camp this summer. I’ve already had several request to do this again!

Here is a list of upcoming events:
Sunday, June 30th - Prayer for our nation.
Sunday, June 30th – Youth leave for Forest Home Christian Camp.

I know God will bless you as you follow Jesus,

Pastor Rick

Welcome

Welcome to Pine Mountain Christian Community Church!
We are pleased you have visited us here. Our desire is to serve the families of the Mountain Communities, along with every person whom the Lord brings into our fellowship. If you have recently moved to this area or if you are looking for a church home, we invite you to consider PMCCC.

We are a Bible-believing church
We’re committed to growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ through regular worship, prayer, and Bible study.

We offer two worship styles
Our 9:00 a.m. service features contemporary style music led by our praise band. At 10:45 a.m. we worship with a mix of traditional hymns and praise songs, accompanied by organ and piano. The same practical, biblical sermon is given at both services.

During Worship Services
We offer nursery care as well as Children’s Church for children through the 3rd Grade. There is a youth Sunday School class (Jr. High and High School) during the 10:45 hour. We encourage parents and youth to attend the first service so that youth can attend both church and Sunday school.

You’re In The Mountains
So don’t worry about what to wear. We believe God looks at the inside. Feel free to dress for comfort.

Other Opportunities
We also offer AWANA, a great teen ministry, and helpful instruction through various weekly Bible studies.

Our Mission
The mission of PMCCC is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. This has been the basis of our ministry from the beginning and is the foundation for everything we do. For more information about us and our purpose statement, please see our “What We Believe” page.

We hope you will join us!
